This mod changes the way the insect farm works to make it more realistic. It allows you to collect 2 boxes of insects from it instead of the insect ingredient you would normally get. Recipes for insect ingredients like Cricket Flour and Beetle Nuggets can be found on my 'Crafting' page.

This mod will override some in-game resources, see the 'Conflicts' tag for details.

Instead of collecting insect ingredients like cricket flour and beetle nuggets directly from the insect farm, your sim will get 2 boxes of whatever insect they're farming. Those boxes can be used as ingredients in other recipes or for some of my other mods, like my 'Feed Animals With' mod or my mill recipes for large bags of insect ingredients.

This mod provides a basic foundation for all my other mods, crafting recipes, cooking recipes, and harvestables. It has resources that are shared across multiple mods and it keeps my files from becoming bloated with duplicate resources. It also allows you to download my content in a modular fashion, giving you more control of the size of your downloads folder. You won't be able to interact with this mod directly but it will provide the basis for other mods to work properly.
